Young Joon Kwak’s ‘The Cave’ 2018

An exhibition review for Canadian Art Online (2018).

What brutal come down, returning from the utopia of working in residence at the Banff Centre for Arts & Creativity! Over a month, our eight-person cohort of the Critical Arts Writing Ensemble explored the outer edges and funkier depths of art writing. One collaborative effort was an exhibition review of LA-based artist, Young Joon’s show, which opened at the Centre during our stay.

Featuring contributions by Erik Benjamins, Andrew Berardini, Ginger Carlson, Tao Fei, Maeve Hanna, Catherine de Montreuil, Ryley O’Byrne, and Daniella Sanader.
