Bookends & Good Hugging 2017

A commissioned essay for In Support of Books, organized by Norma (2017).

Norma, a LA-based studio for ‘objects, moveables and spaces,’ had curated a fantastic group exhibition of various bookends for the annual LA Art Book Fair at MOCA. Within their sharp-looking designed catalog, I contributed a short meditation on book ends-as-huggers.

“Erik is Los Angeles’ not-yet-crowned prose-laureate.”
