An artist book (2015).
The book that started it all. An experimental travel memoir of text and photographs made during an emotional return to Florence, eight years after studying abroad as a green college student. Returning as a Professor in Art and Communication Studies at Loyola Marymount University, I taught a class that sought to critically engage the Tourist experience. Butts... was an unexpected offshoot, sent to print before the last of the mosquito bites healed.
