Disintegrating Smeller 2017
A short story for Spring Soap at Spring Workshop (2017) .
As an artist-in-residence at Spring Workshop, Hong Kong, I worked as a curious smeller to create and exhibit a custom-scented hand soap. As site intervention and olfactory portrait, the finished soap was complemented with some text. Found on the back of the bottle’s label, a short story told of a visiting smeller, whose body begins to slowly disintegrate.
